Losing a parent to dementia is really not easy ... today she’d a good day - recognize me and enjoyed being hugged and spending time together.

  3. I didn't understand the title, until I read the explanation. A very poignant post. She's lovely, and you certainly don't see the dementia in the photo...we see the woman you remember. My heart goes out to you.

  4. This is a beautiful and loving portrait. My aunt had and Godmother has dementia, I wish I'd taken a photo this compassionate. You've reminded me I need to see my Godmother soon.
